On 15 January 2026, H.E. Antonella Cavallari was officially installed as the new Italian Ambassador to Cyprus, taking up her post in Nicosia.
A diplomat of extensive experience, H.E. Cavallari begins her Mission to Cyprus at a particularly significant moment, marked by the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union, following her previous role as Secretary General of the IILA.
In accordance with the Chamber’s Statute, Ambassador Cavallari also assumes the position of Honorary President of the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce.
The President, Giuseppe Marino, on behalf of the board and all members, has extended a warm welcome to the new Ambassador, reaffirming the Chamber’s full availability to work in close collaboration to support the Sistema Italia and to further develop economic and commercial relations between the two countries.
