Institutional Meeting between the Shipping Deputy Minister of Cyprus and the President of Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce
On 18th September 2020 took place an important institutional meeting between the Shipping Deputy Ministrer of Cyprus Vassilis Demetriades and the President of the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Giuseppe Marino, accompanied by Vice President Costas Katsaros.
During the meeting, the relevant opportunities for cooperation between Italy and Cyprus in the shipping sector and the important role played by the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce in promoting the Cypriot cluster in Italy were discussed.
The meeting also revealed significant prospects for collaboration between Cyprus and Italy also in the maritime transport sector in consideration, among other things, of the forthcoming publication of the tender for the assignment of the ferry service between Cyprus and Greece.
