The President of the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce, Giuseppe Marino, attended the EDF Info Day 2026, held at the Ministry of Defence in Rome, with the aim of fostering industrial and strategic collaboration between Italy and Cyprus in the defence sector.
The participation builds on the Memorandum of Understanding between AIAD and CARIE, promoted by the Chamber, and represents a further step in strengthening bilateral synergies within the framework of European defence funding instruments.
The Chamber looks forward to the new cooperation opportunities offered by the European Defence Fund, reaffirming its commitment to bridging the Italian and Cypriot industrial ecosystems in a sector of growing strategic importance for both countries and for the European Union.
