The Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2016 in Rome under the name of Sintesi Business Network as an international association focused on research, study and analysis of legal and tax issues in the international corporate field and, already a few months after its establishment, it focuses its action on promotion and development of economic, commercial and professional relations between Italy and the Republic of Cyprus, laying the foundations of the current Chamber structure.

In April 2017 the first representative office opens in Cyprus in order to strengthen local action characterized by commercial missions on a monthly basis, while activating partnerships and synergies with the most important local realities.

In March 2018 the Association organized the I Cypriot-Italian Business Forum in collaboration with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Cyprus Investment and Promotion Agency in which an important Cypriot delegation takes part, which will then become an annual fixed appointment alongside other general and sectoral events organized every year in Italy and Cyprus.

The Shipping Conference organized in May 2019 in Limassol in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Shipping, the Cyprus Shipping Chamber and the Energy Conference, organized in December 2019 in Rome with the as part of the II Cypriot-Italian Business Forum with the participation of the main public and private sector players, fits into this context.

In December 2019 the Services Conference made up of representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Unioncamere, having assessed the requirements set out in Law 1 July 1970 n. 518 deliberates the recognition and contextual registration of the association to the Register of Italian Foreign Chambers at number 56 with the name of the Italian Cypriot Chamber of Commerce.
