Mario Franchin

Mario Franchin has 15+ years’ experience in the energy sector having matured a wide range of competencies along the entire value chain.

With a degree in Industrial Engineer from Bologna University, he began his career in 2003 as project Director in an Italian construction company.

In 2007 he joined Salini-Impregilo company starting his international experience as Project Director for different projects in Uganda.

In 2009 he joined Saipem where, over the course of 8 years, he held position of increasing responsibility, firstly as Commercial manager for Venezuela and subsequently as Managing director of Saipem subsidiaries in Venezuela, Libya and Iran. In 2016 he has been appointed Regional Commercial Manager for North America.

In August 2017 he joined SNAM as Senior Vice President Commercial Global Solution.
